Keep your times in one place
The practice log holds a personal best for every event, keeps the two pool lengths apart, and shows this same ladder each time you enter a race time. It stays on your own device and never appears on a scoreboard.
Reading the ladder
A 25 m pool gives you twice the turns over the same distance, so those times come out faster. Keeping them in one column would make the ladder meaningless, which is why the two are switched, never merged.
A qualifying time is a floor rather than a target. Meets fill on quota and entry order, so a swim that only just clears the mark can still miss the cut. Age group is fixed by the cut-off date in the entry circular, not by age on the day of the race.
