For parents and teachers
Himank World is run by a parent in Jamshedpur, not a company. It exists because a group of school students wanted somewhere to quiz each other and keep track of their practice. This page explains exactly how it works, so you can decide whether you are comfortable with your child using it.
What a student gives us
A nickname and a class. That is all. There is no email address, no phone number, no password, no date of birth, no school name and no address. Nothing is verified because nothing needs to be.

How quizzes are checked
Question text passes an automatic filter that blocks rude words, links, email addresses and phone numbers. That filter is simple and will not catch everything, so every quiz also carries a report button. Reports are reviewed by an adult the same day and a quiz can be removed permanently, which stops its code working straight away.
Where the data sits
Quizzes and scores are stored so that a code can be opened on a friend's phone. Those records contain only a nickname, a class, a score and the questions the student wrote.
Practice logs and swim times are not shown to anyone. They are, however, copied into a private backup so that a young athlete does not lose a season of race times when a phone is replaced. That backup is locked behind a twelve-character recovery code held only by the student. There is no directory, no search and no way to list backups — without the exact code nothing opens. A student can turn the backup off, download everything, or delete it, from the My scores page.
No money involved
There are no ads, no paid features, no sponsored content and nothing is sold to any third party. Nobody is paying for a student's attention here.
The swimming benchmarks
The site shows age-group time standards so a young swimmer can see the next realistic target rather than only the fastest time in the country. These figures are maintained by hand from published federation circulars and can go out of date between seasons. Please treat them as a guide, not as an official entry standard, and check the current circular before entering a meet.
Reporting something, or asking for a removal
Use the report button on any quiz, or write to the site owner at the address below. Tell us the quiz code and what the problem is. Anything reported as unsafe is taken down first and looked at afterwards.
